Michael Jackson was one of the most well known faces on the planet. Dubbed “The King of Pop” he has spent the last few decades of his life as a living legend.
This is not pure hype or my own personal opinions this is a fact and an honor which was bestowed upon him by others.
Michael Jackson was given this Title and Award by the Guinness Book of World Records in the early 90’s, they awarded him “The Living Legend Award”.
Yes this is a true statement, even though Michael produced this album in the early 80's it is still the best selling album of all time, out performing other legends past and present.
Michael Jackson’s 1982 Album "Thriller" still remains as worlds best selling record of all time. This Album grossed an estimated sales volume of between 60 – 65 million copies world wide. At one stage the Album was recorded as selling a million copies in one week.
Michael Jackson was perhaps one of the greatest entertainers of all time. He was set to make a comeback tour which was to rival any concert of this century. His fans were perhaps the most die hard fans of any musician this planet has produced.
At the age of 50, when other musicians were taking their hats of and putting them on the shelf, Michael was set to start the next leg of his career. The concert dates were set, the tickets had been sold, the money was all but in the bank, and his fans were waiting in anticipation.
Newsflash- "The King of Pop has passed away"
"I was driving home late yesterday afternoon when I turned the radio on to hear the reporter talking about the death of Michael Jackson. I thought at first it was a hoax. The moment I got home I jumped on the net and did a search, and to my dismay it was no hoax"
RIP Michael Jackson
Update:
Tributes to Michael Jackson have flooded in from all corners of the globe sense it was announced that the singer had passed away late Thursday 25th June. Many fans leaving flowers, cards and memorabilia outside his home and on his Official Hollywood Star. He has received tributes from Madonna, Arnold Schwarzenegger and his ex wife Lisa Marie Presley.
Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994 in what many thought by many to have been a bizarre arrangement, and they divorced in 1996. Later that same year, Michael married Deborah Rowe, who was a former nurse of his dermatologist.
Michael and Deborah had two children together: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., who is known as “Prince Michael” and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. Michael also had a third child know as “Prince Michael II”.

No doubt I expect lots of added controversy to rise its ugly head over the next 12 months as some of the hunger money gluten relatives attempt to lay claim to the mountain of cash yet to flow into Michael's Trusts. I don’t expect this to come from his close and trusted family members, but every family has skeletons in the closet and I expect they will come out.
